Schedule Of Church Services
When you visit Elizabeth City Baptist Church, you will be met with a warm, friendly welcome from our Pastor and members. Visiting a new church for the first time can be overwhelming and we want to make you feel as comfortable as possible.
As you pull into the parking lot you will be met by one of our greeters who will assist you with getting seated and showing you around.
We have a clean and safe nursery adjacent to the auditorium where you can drop off your children up to 2 years of age. Our nursery is also open for every church service.

Sunday School is a time that the Bible is taught in a smaller group setting before the 11:00 Main Service.
Our Pastor teaches in the main auditorium.
The children’s class meets upstairs with Mrs. Heidi and Mrs. Kayla.
The Ladies Class is taught by Miss Patti Swain.
There is also a nursery provided during Sunday School.
We also serve Breakfast every Sunday starting at 9:30 and hope that you will come early to enjoy the food, coffee and fellowship!

The 11:00 Service is the primary service at Elizabeth City Baptist Church.
The Service is well organized, with congregational singing, prayer, offering, special music and a sermon from our Pastor.
There is also a time of Invitation at the end where people can come forward to be saved, to pray, or to be baptized.

The Sunday Night Service is the highlight of our Sunday Services with people coming back to church to hear more preaching of God’s Word!
We have Sunday Night Service because we need more than ever to assemble as Believers and hear the Word of God!
Our children’s choir also meets every Sunday night at 5:30 for music practice.
Wednesday Night Prayer and Bible Study

Our Wednesday Night Service is one of the most helpful services of our church. Many times we all need a mid-week “pick-me-up” of Spiritual encouragement and solid Bible teaching.
The Order of Service is similar to Sunday but with an emphasis on teaching the Word of God and a special time of prayer.

As Believers, we are commanded by Jesus Christ to “preach the Gospel to every creature”. That’s what soulwinning is; winning souls to Jesus Christ.
We do that not only with daily, personal soulwinning, but also with scheduled churchwide soulwinning.
We knock on doors, inviting our community to church and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

FAQs
-What should I wear?
There is no specific dress code to attend E.C.B.C., we just want you to come as you are! However, our Pastor, music leader, ushers, nursery workers, and other church leaders wear traditional church attire.
-Is there a nursery provided?
We have a clean, safe, nursery available in every service for children up to 2 years of age. If you would like to keep your child with you, you are most welcome to, and we ask that you sit towards the back of the auditorium in case you need to step out. We also have a sitting room where you can listen to the service via speakers.
-Where should I go when I arrive?
After you park in our parking lot, come directly to the single door next to the sidewalk. There will be a greeter there to help you in and he will show you straight ahead into our auditorium. There is also a nice wheelchair ramp at the back of the building if needed.
-Am I expected to participate in the offering?
We want our guests to be able to give if they like, but there is no obligation to. After you fill out a “Visitor’s Card” we would appreciate it if you could place that in the offering plate when it comes by.
-How long are the services?
All of our church services are about 1 hour long.
-Do you have a Live Stream?
We Live Stream all of our regular services and they can be found on our church YouTube channel.
-How do I become a member?
In short, there are 3 ways: Get baptized at our church (after you have been saved), by letter of reference from your former church, or by personal testimony of salvation and baptism by immersion. If you are interested in becoming a member, please feel free to speak to our Pastor about it.
